Tomorrow will be our PTO program. I am pleased to say we have about 8 students from our class to say they will come and perform. Please be there about 10 minutes until 6. They will start the pto meeting at 6pm. Then the Kindergarden will perform, Then the 1st grade and then us. The whole meeting is over once we are done.
We have been practicing since last Friday. The kids sound great.
If you can't attend then please don't worry.
We don't have a special outfit needed for the performance. Dress nicely of course but it will be your choice.

The students will have a sub on Wed/ Thurs. and Friday of this week. Please encourage them to be on their best behavior during this time.
They will still have their regular reading test on Thursday and Spelling and Language on Friday.
They will have their timed fact drills on Thursday and Friday too.
Our next Science and Math grades will be given next week when I return.

We will have a Valentine's Day party on Feb. 14th. I will provide the cups, plates, napkins and Milk.
Please send in your favorite Valentine treat.... You can make one (enough for 19 kids) or you can buy it. Please send in your item by Monday, Feb. 13th.
In addition to your special Valentine treat. Please help your child make a Valentine for each of the students in our class. We will create our Valentine mailbox bags in class. Students can pass out their Valentines to everyone on the morning of Feb. 14th. We will dig into our Valentine bags later in the afternoon.
We will do Valentine Activities all throughout that day.

Our special classes this week are: Counseling on Wednesday with Mrs. Bush. A special gifted lesson on Friday morning at 9:15 AND Music class on Friday morning at 10:30

We have slushy day on Friday too. Send in $1.50 on Friday morning if you want your child to get a slushy at P.E.

*The next graded paper batch will come home on Monday, Feb. 13th.
