Everyone looked GREAT on Picture day. Thanks for your help with that.
Please ask your child about the squiggle/transformation drawing we did with the gifted teacher, our M&M addition activity/game we did with Mrs. Pam, and the new songs we learned in music class. What a fun filled week.
NOW... Welcome to Fall, a fresh week, and the beginning of unit 2 in Reading and Language.
Monday is day #1 and Friday is day #5... We are back on track for a while.
I will be sending the spelling words home for the entire unit.
I will also send home the study page for each weekly story. Please look for these in your child's folder.
A few changes are starting with the reading test this Thursday. The students will complete the two written answered questions independently and they will be scored on the test. (remember the first unit I showed them how to answer in complete sentences) Also the written answered question of the fresh read story (part of the test) will be counted as well.
Thanks to all of you who have been signing graded papers that have been coming home.
