What a GREAT first week we have had together.
I have enjoyed getting to know my students.
Next week WE START all of our normal curriculum.
Be ready for homework to start coming home Monday night.
I want to send a special thanks to all parents who have sent in their paperwork and money. I know it was a lot.
For those of you who may have forgotten or don't know what is still missing... I will send a note letting you know. :)
Next Thursday, August 29th our GREEN pod will be taking the August DIBELS test. (We will later take it again in Dec/Jan, and a final time in May) This Dibels score will give us a baseline to start with your child. It will help us group them accurately and work on skills they Need.
**Please make sure that your child gets a good night's sleep on Wednesday night and eats breakfast on Thursday morning. This always helps them THINK and DO THEIR BEST.
We will take our first GRADES this coming Thursday and Friday.
Remember that starting Monday your child may be dropped off at 7:30am
Teachers will be on campus starting at that time.
